I am blissfully happy. It is Sunday, one week since I went to my Vipassana retreat and I can say unequivocally, I am content. The day seems to be spread in front of me like an opportunity for delight. All of the activities I can do, or choose to do, are all tantalizing.
There seems to be a new purpose and meaning to my life. I had a simple breakfast of toast, milk and a cut up macintosh apple. It all seemed so perfect. If this is the long term effect of my 10-day course, I would highly recommend it. But, that said, it was tough and it is not for everyone.
